We know Food Day is October 24th, but What is it?
Food Day is a nationwide celebration and movement toward healthy, more affordable, and sustainable food. Food Day takes place annually on October 24. The ultimate goal of Food Day is to strengthen and unify the food movement in order to improve our nation’s food policies. Food Day seeks to bring together people from all walks of life—parents, teachers, and students; health professionals, community organizers, and local officials; chefs, school lunch providers, and eaters of all stripes—to encourage healthy, affordable food produced in a sustainable, humane way.
Join the food movement by signing up to organize or attend Food Day events in your community.
